This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Dalhousie University (“University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Ocean Tracking Network’s Nearshore Operations Vessel & Trailer, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

Dalhousie University is looking to purchase a vessel with trailer for the deployment and recovery of their ocean-going equipment including gliders. This vessel will replace their current vessel, a ZODIAC SRO 700 with cabin. The intended use is to be trailered to a variety of locations throughout the Maritimes and Quebec and launched at public boat launches to travel up to 25 nm offshore and deploy and recover equipment including underwater gliders that weight up to 100 kg.
