The mace re-visioning committee is seeking proposals for a new symbol that represents the university’s values of diversity, inclusiveness and respect. While aware of the historical role of the existing ceremonial mace, the committee members seek, through partnerships with artists, designers and/or artisans, to commission the production of a new ceremonial object that reflects the university’s values and its complete history.
