Dalhousie University School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Undergraduate degree that prepares students to become registered nurses (RNs). There are many clinical competencies (skills) required to complete the program and students are expected to have some level of proficiency when they graduate. Quality student kits are required to provide the students with the basic equipment they will need to perform a multitude of clinical competencies that they will learn in the lab setting but also to have the opportunity to do extra practice at home with their own supplies and to prepare for practical testing.
