| Description: |
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Dalhousie University (“University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Supply and Install Spectral Analysing Flow Cytometer, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Flow Cytometry Core (MRDO) is seeking a top-of-the-line spectral analysing flow cytometer for immunophenotyping, cancer, oncolytic viral, inflammatory, haematological, neural and infectious disease research capable of conducting modern flow cytometric research. Detection of rare events by surface or intracellular probes as well as fluorescent recombinant proteins will be important. A spectral analyzer with 5 or more laser lines which should be capable of panel designs of 40-50 markers will be required. The new instrumentation is intended to be an upgrade and expansion of the number of simultaneous markers possible on samples from our diverse group of researchers, while also serving as a complement to the existing instruments, including discovery/identification of phenotypes to be sorted with a BD FACS Aria Fusion. Please Note: To ensure the latest information and updates regarding this bid, the onus is on the bidder to ensure they are monitoring the bidding system for issued addenda, clarifications, and instructions that may impact submissions. |
